I did order a size up and it fits perfect.I liked the dress style and the way the wrap around side hides any tummy bulge you may have. However, I wasn't expecting the fabric to be heavy and textured, however, that fact did make it hide any cellulite, etc. One thing I do not like about the dress is that a bra seems impossible to wear with it and it has no push up in it. Also, on the wrap around side, the way it is stitched makes a bulge come out below the hip line where the inner lining stitches on. It does not lay smoothly there. Overall, a great buy and flattering to almost any figure. I am 5'2" and wear a size 8-10 normally and an 8 in this fit perfectly.I honestly found the fabric quality poor. The price for the quality of this dress should have been more around the $15 or under price range. The fabric just FEELS and looks cheaply made. It feels a bit rough actually. I was taken aback at how cheap the material looks in person in comparison to the amazon photo. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed with this dress. It just did not match my expectation of it AT ALL. I was so excited to receive this dress. :/ It is definitely not a bad dress, it's just not what I was expecting and the price is far too high for its not so great quality. The up side is that it is quite flattering on my shape, minus the boob area part of the dress; that part is too big and too much fabric. There is literally barely any room for tasteful cleavage, which is something I was hoping for with this dress. Overall, it's a pretty, figure flattering little black dress that can be worn for most occasions, the downsides are what I already mentioned. I originally got the plum color, which was gorgeous but I had ordered a size up based off other reviews and was afraid it wouldn't fit, and it was too big. I reordered in my size but the plum was unavailable so I went with the teal. Both dresses feel nice quality, and are very flattering. I wish the slit in front was a tad more closed because I sometimes feel like it's exposing too high on me, and the chest is a bit too big and may need pinned. This was exactly the look I needed. The ruching around the waste covered my pudge, the cleavage was just enough and the length was perfect. The split in the skirt leaves plenty of room for movement. I especially loved the off the shoulder look of this dress with the support of the straps. I'm a 36DD so support is important. I wear a size M/L depending on the material and cut of a garment and a size 8 off the rack. So satisfied! I highly recommend. ??El vestido es bonito y el color. Mis medidas son 36B, 33waist y 42 hips.Although I liked the look of this dress and it was flattering for me (size 8/medium, 40-30-42), it was very tight and a little short an kept riding up. Maybe go up a size or it might be perfect if you like tight and short. I bought this dress in two colors and they fit very differently. This one's waist was much lower than the other.
